ITCH (International Theatre of the Condition of Humans) Productions is a theatre company committed to presenting work that has a big heart and a universal reach.
Established in 2008, ITCH Productions specialises in developing and performing brand new Australian work and producing great European and American plays of the 20th Century.
Our mission is to produce and tour exciting and entertaining work, which engages with the universal questions of what it is to be human and to tell stories that provoke, enrich and sustain the imagination.
A native of Cork City, Ireland, Des trained at the Gaiety School of Acting, Dublin. He moved to Melbourne in 2002 and became an Australian citizen in 2011. He established ITCH Productions in 2008 to create and perform work that embodies the rich tradition of theatrical storytelling.
Des has worked in theatre, film and television in Ireland, Australia and the UK. Des is no stranger to the production side of the industry. Before turning his focus to performing he spent six years working as a stage manager, most notably at the Royal Albert Hall, London and Glyndebourne Festival Opera, East Sussex.
Alice has over 20 years professional theatrical experience. She began her career as an actor and has worked across a variety of disciplines as a singer, comedian, producer, musician, writer, costume and production designer, and these days primarily as a director.
